Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation launches its New Website

The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) has launched its new website with a modern and innovative design that conforms to the highest technical standards that support the process of smart transformation led by the Dubai government, and through which it aims to facilitate the access of customers and researchers to its services with complete flexibility from various smart tablets. His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, stated that based on the Corporation’s strategic plan 2021-2025 and its mission to facilitate and promote economic transformation in Dubai through processes, regulations and innovative solutions that contribute to ensuring sustainable commercial activities, PCFC has started its first step in simplifying procedures and avoiding duplication in providing services between its various departments and authorities, by optimal use of smart technologies and innovative solutions to reduce cost and time, and thus unify and improve procedures that achieve customer happiness, through a unified electronic portal that brings together various business units under one smart and innovative platform, is www.pcfc.ae Bin Sulayem stressed that the launch of the new website comes as an essential step to unify the corporate identity and create a single destination through which researchers and website surfers are familiarized with the corporation’s goals and mission, and information about its affiliated departments such as Dubai Customs, Jafza, the Department of Planning and Development- Trakhees, the Dubai Maritime City Authority, and others, as well as the services available to individuals and companies. It also provides customers with the opportunity to apply for services using the best technological means that meet their needs quickly and easily, which saves them time and effort, in addition to responding to inquiries, reporting violations, or benefiting from the services provided by the institution and any other related services. His Excellency added that the standards used in establishing and designing the new website support various electronic devices and operating systems in smart phones, and are in line with the objectives of the Dubai Smart Government, and their development came to keep pace with modern technological progress and reflect the efforts made by the corporation in the field of digital transformation. The Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation explained that the plan to develop the new site aims to link the websites of the business units of the Corporation, namely the Department of Planning and Development - Trakhees, the Dubai Maritime City Authority, the Dubai Ports Authority, the Marine Agency for Wooden Dhows, and the Security and Investment Departments in one electronic platform.
