Dubai Maritime Authority announces its Preparations to Participate in the Dubai International Boat Show 2023

The Dubai Maritime Authority of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation has announced its readiness to participate in the 29th edition of the "Dubai International Boat Show 2023" from March 1 to 5 at the Dubai Harbor, which is the largest and most prominent global exhibition on marine life in the Middle East, which is expected to receive more than 30,000 visitors in the presence of more than a thousand international brands. Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Dubai Maritime Authority, indicated that more than 12% of the world's luxury yachts are located in the Middle East and North Africa region, which made Dubai the ideal destination to host the Dubai International Boat Show in its new round. He added that the Maritime Authority is making strenuous efforts to maintain the position that Dubai has reached as one of the ten most important navigation centers in the world in the maritime sector, in addition to owning a number of developed waterfronts and many distinguished marinas. Sheikh Dr. Saeed Al Maktoum stressed that the authority is looking forward to welcoming maritime sector investors and pioneers from all over the world at the Authority's platform in the luxury yacht pavilion at the Dubai International Boat Show in its new dition, pointing out the Dubai Maritime Authority's readiness to announce its new innovations that serve the maritime sector during the days of the exhibition, and to the partnerships that will be held on the sidelines of its participation in this session, which will contribute to enhancing its services provided to a wide range of customers and amateurs in this sector, in a way that provides a distinguished experience for residents and visitors of boat and yacht owners, as Dubai is a global pioneering destination for recreational activities and marine sports. The Executive Director of the Dubai Maritime Authority said: "The Authority is fully prepared to provide all the services required for the benefit of the boats and yachts participating in the exhibition, through integrated coordination between all the authorities concerned with navigation in the territorial waters of the Emirate of Dubai to meet the requirements of the pioneers of the sector and amateurs of marine life in the emirate”. Sheikh Dr. Saeed continued: "As the Dubai Maritime Authority continues to contribute to the yachting sector in the region, we look forward to strengthening Dubai's position as an exceptional global destination for yachting and one of the most developed and competitive maritime capitals in the world”. It is noteworthy that the Authority's stand in the previous session of the exhibition in 2022 had met with a wide turnout of visitors to the exhibition, as their number reached more than 15 thousand visitors over the days of the exhibition, and the PCFC, represented by the Authority, is keen to participate in the various sessions of the Dubai International Boat Show because of its importance in meeting pioneers of marine work, amateurs and those interested in yacht tourism from all over the world.
