In line with Dubai's unprecedented achievement of becoming the first paperless government globally, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation announced the implementation of the Dubai Paperless Strategy, with the Dubai Maritime City Authority and the Department of Planning and Development - “Trakhees” obtaining the "100% Paperless" stamp, in a move that reflects the tireless efforts to meet the aspirations of good leadership and establish Dubai's status as a global symbol of integrated and sustainable cities.
On this occasion, His Excellency Sultan bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, confirmed that the announement of the Government of Dubai as the first paperless government globally is a qualitative achievement and a milestone in the Emirate's record of global achievements. Through the vision of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, as well as the directives of his highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, Dubai's position as a leading digital capital has been consolidated."
