The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) is one of the government organizations under the Dubai government, which was officially established in 2001, and includes a number of entities and authorities operating under its umbrella.

We are committed to facilitate economic transformation of Dubai by providing innovative processes, regulations, and solutions ensuring sustainable business activities in compliance with, ISO standards, international standards such as, but not limited to, ISPS Code, local laws and relevant legislations.

It is a vision inherited by the founder of the corporation itself, the late Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, who had the foresight to unite Dubai Customs, Dubai Ports and Free Zone Authorities under a single administration.

Ever since its inception, PCFC has been a pioneer of trade and customs not only in Dubai but across the region. It has ignited businesses that have created some of Dubai's most iconic landmarks, reinvented the concept of Free Zones and continues to be the catalyst in an ever-changing business landscape.

Dubai Customs

Dubai Customs is one of the leading government departments taking part in enhancing sustainable development and promoting Dubai's image worldwide, turning it into a principal capital, business and tourism destination, as it facilitates smooth movement of legitimate trade and leverages economic and social development.

Trakhees

Department of Planning and Development - Trakhees was established by Decree No.22 of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the implementation of its business started in 2009.

Jafza

Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) is the flagship free zone of DP World, and is an integral part of the DP World UAE Region's integrated business hub. The Free Zone has evolved into a trade catalyst and a smart business community that offers unprecedented growth opportunities and market access.

DMA

Dubai Maritime Authority (DMA) has brought about a radical change in the local maritime sector through an extensive range of industry initiatives and regulations which support its ambitious approach to creating a safe investment environment for industry leaders from all over the world.

Dubai Ports Authority

Development and maintenance of the infra structure and superstructure in the Ports.Establishing the necessary rules for the administration and operation of the Ports. Stipulate functions and activities which users are allowed to perform in the Ports. Establishment of offices and appointment of representatives in and outside the State for promotion of the Ports.

PCFC Security Department

The Security Department is the security arm of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation in Dubai, which provides all efforts to implement local and international security standards in order to ensure security, safety and stability in the maritime sector and its free zones in the emirate of Dubai.

Marine Agency

The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, in cooperation with the Dubai Maritime Authority, launched the "Marine Agency for Wooden Dhows", to oversee wooden dhow ships and regulate all their activities while they’re in Dubai waters.

PCFC Investment

PCFC Investments LLC (PCFCI) is a boutique private equity firm whose principal objective is investment in commercial enterprises and asset management. The company’s business model is focused on investing in, owning, developing and managing commercial real estate assets.
