The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) is one of the government organizations under the Dubai government, which was officially established in 2001, and includes a number of entities and authorities operating under its umbrella. These entities include the main ports in Dubai such as Port Rashid, Jebel Ali Port, Al Hamriya Port, which are managed by Dubai Ports Authority, in addition to the Department of Planning and Development - Trakhees, the Dubai Maritime City Authority and the Office of the Marine Agency for Wooden Dhows, in addition to the investment arm and the security arm of the corporation, represented by Investment Department and Security Department.
At the present time, about 514 employees are working under the umbrella of the corporation. Those entities provide services to different categories, including companies, merchants and individuals from various locations in the Emirate of Dubai. The Corporation relies on the innovative use of technology to provide smart and distinguished services to its customers, and is constantly working on developing coping mechanisms in line with best practices and to ensure customer happiness and loyalty in line with government guidelines.
